flimsy doorhidden charges
The bathroom door was a sliding door and very flimsy. it seemed like anyone could open it easily. there was a $100 hold on my visa at check-in! they did not allow cash. then at checkout, i found out they charged me for water and coffee in the room even though i didn't use them. also, they deducted a coupon they gave us for 15% off at the bar even though i didn't use it. it was never explained to us, not at check in. And they refused to give me an invoice.

Very nice Stay in Standard King Room
easy checkoutexcellent breakfastperfect location
I found the location perfect for exploring. The luggage service made checkout easy allowing further city exploration. The lobby restaurant served excellent breakfasts, a true highlight before starting the day (i loved their coffee!).
Street sounds were audible.

The hotel had a well-equipped gym including three treadmills and two stationary bikes. Guests can access a business center providing computers and printers for any work-related needs and tasks .

The hotel's proximity allowed walking to main tourist points. Numerous shops and restaurants surrounded the hotel (a great convenience). Public transport options were also easily accessible for exploring further.

fantastic downtown stay!
killer locationfriendly staffsuper clean room
The location is killer. you can practically roll out of bed and onto michigan avenue. plus, the staff were super friendly and always ready to help with directions or recommendations for local spots. i found the room clean upon arrival. Housekeeping maintained it super clean throughout my stay!
The only minor hiccup was the elevator wait during peak hours. It got a bit crowded at times.

My beautiful king room included a rainfall shower head. fresh towels were provided daily. Beds were also comfortable. in addition, the room has device connectivity to the tv.

While i didn't dine in, i noticed stan's donuts is right across the street. additionally, nando's peri-peri is also super close. Elephant and castle is also nearby.

The reception area always smelled fantastic! staff members consistently greeted me with smiles and offered assistance. Housekeeping provided daily service with fresh linens. i really like the location.
